Please read these terms carefully before booking a tour package or taxi service with Roy Tours & Travel.
1. Booking & Confirmation
All tour package and taxi bookings with Roy Tours & Travel are confirmed only after we acknowledge your request and receive any applicable advance payment. Quoted prices are valid for the dates communicated and may change due to seasonality, vehicle availability, permit costs or government charges.
2. Payments
An advance may be required to block vehicles, hotels and permits, with the balance payable as per the schedule shared at the time of booking. Accepted payment modes will be confirmed during booking. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation charges depend on how far in advance you cancel and on non-refundable costs already incurred (hotels, permits, transport). The applicable cancellation slab will be shared with your booking confirmation. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
4. Permits & Documents
Travel to North Sikkim, the Silk Route and certain protected areas requires permits and valid photo ID. You are responsible for carrying valid identification; we assist with permit arrangements but cannot be held liable for denial of permits by the authorities.
5. Taxi & Vehicle Services
Vehicle categories (sedan, SUV, Tempo Traveller) are allotted as per availability. Routes, halts and timings may be adjusted by drivers for safety, weather or road conditions. Fares are based on the agreed route; extra running, night halts or detours may be charged additionally.
6. Liability
Roy Tours & Travel acts as a facilitator for hill tours and transport. We are not liable for delays, losses or changes caused by weather, landslides, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, third-party hotels, or other circumstances beyond our control. Travellers undertake activities at their own risk.
7. Conduct & Changes
We may modify or reschedule an itinerary for safety or operational reasons. We reserve the right to decline service in case of unlawful, unsafe or abusive conduct. Please share special requirements (medical, dietary, accessibility) in advance.
